Woof!

Woof! is a British children's television series produced by Central Independent Television about the adventures of a boy named Eric Banks who keeps turning into a dog and he change back into a Human by 60 minutes when he is all Naked. It was based on the book by Allan Ahlberg. It was directed by David Cobham. It was written by Richard Fegen and Andrew Norriss when it act like the 1982 film called Cat People like the Woman named Irena Gallier who turns into a Panther.

History

The show was first broadcast in 1989. It starred Liza Goddard as teacher Mrs Jessop. Edward Fidoe played Eric Banks, the boy who kept turning into a dog (played by Pippin) of the same name. It also starred Thomas Aldwinckle as Eric's friend named Roy Ackerman and later Sarah Smart as Eric's tomboy girl friend named Rachel Hobbs. Filming was interrupted for a while when Smart broke her leg.

The show generally featured weekly escapades to do with the dog power. Late in Eric's run of episodes, a start at a plot arc was developed, with Eric discovering the transition is caused by adrenaline, and meeting up with a man (played by Anthony Head) who has the same affliction by turning into a Black Labrador Retriever.

From Series Six which began airing in 1993, the episodes featured the adventures of Kenneth Thomas Jr by the nick name called Rex (played by Adam Roper) and his best friend named Michael Tully (Monty Allan). Rex inherits Eric's "condition", and in the final episode of series 8 he becomes Mrs Jessop's stepson after she marries Rex's father named Kenneth Sr by the short name called Ken (played by Owen Brenman). Lionel Jeffries also guest-starred as Rex's Grandfather named Ernie.

The ninth and final series, consisting of seven episodes, aired in 1997. It featured James Walters by nick name called Jim (played by Sebastian Mahjouri), accompanied by his cousin named Brian Barford (played Jack Allen) and next door Neighbour named Carrie Howard (Faye Jackson). By the time the show ended, Liza Goddard was the only original cast member to feature through all nine series.

The programme featured several well-known actors over the years. Leslie Grantham appeared in some episodes as Mr Garrett, a ruthless dog warden from the local dog pound. Stephen Fry appeared in one episode, as a cartoonist whose work is disrupted by Grandad and Rex. Others included Ruth Madoc, Anita Dobson, Penelope Keith, Leslie Phillips, John Ringham, Bill Pertwee, Julian Fellowes and Andrew Sachs.^[1]

Four dogs starred across the nine series. Pippin was the first, and she also starred in Children's BBC programme Come Outside, and a number of educational schools films. She was the offspring of one of the dogs who played Benji. Tich was the second dog to play Eric. Punch, a small white dog, played Rex the Dog. Tinka appeared as Jim the dog in the final series. Pippin was owned and trained by Ann Head.^{[citation needed]}

Early series were filmed around the suburb of Moseley in Birmingham. Later in the series, production moved to Nottingham and much location filming took place in and around West Bridgford, a suburb just south of Nottingham, Keyworth (a large village, 7 miles south of Nottingham) and various other Nottinghamshire towns. The show was broadcast in Australia at 6:50 AM on weekdays on 7TWO from April 2010.

The school used during filming is Wilford Meadows Comprehensive located in Wilford. The school has since been demolished and a new school (The Nottingham Emmanuel School) was built on the land.

meanwhile a Rottweiler show up and it on a Lead with a Woman because it chase the little dog away but write the name off the sand when Les doesn't believe her because he thinks she is being crazy and he is know Eric is no name for a dog.

But the little dog walking down the street and his name is Eric because his 2nd name called Banks but he is not really a dog one is a Mongrel because he is a Human Child has red hair and he is only 8-years-old.

Mean something did happened to him.

because some magic fleas are escape From a laboratory at an science centre in London.

And hey got inside of his hair but they’re turn him into a dog by 60 minutes because they change back into a human by 60 minutes When he in his bed.

Season 5 Episode 1 called Police Dog

When Eric and his Parents moved to a new House because he find away from his new next door Neighbour named Mr. Flint the man wearing the flat cap who catching him when he coming out of his new house but he deal with a bad guy named Donald Parkes the same one who took Mrs Furniture's purse.

Season 6 Episode 1 called A Boy Called Rex

It was 3 o’Clock in the afternoon when a 10-Year-old Boy named Kenneth Thomas Jr by the nick name called Rex.

but he is an only child because his mother died of kidney failure when he is only 4-Years-old mean he lived with his father named Kenneth Sr and Grandfather named Ernie in laundry shop downstairs in his flat because his was always been that way when he doesn't live in a house.

but he is not allowed to get a dog because he knows dogs are not allowed in His dad’s laundry shop mean he lived in a flat.

when Eric Banks and Rachel Hobbs are walking down the street but Eric bumped into him because the Magic fleas come out of Eric’s hair and they landed in Rex’s hair.

when Eric End up scratching himself but he is not turning into a dog who similar like a Norfolk Terrier or a Lhasa Apso any more because the Magic fleas are not inside his hair but they landed in somebody else's hair by the same one he Bumped into.

when Rex is still walking because he show up at his dad’s laundry shop and he says hello to his dad but his grandfather want him to go to the park with him because Rex can't go to the park with his grandfather mean he have to do his homework.

After he way upstairs in his bedroom and he open his bedroom window by doing his homework on his Computer because the magic fleas in his hair made him to scratch himself.

meanwhile downstairs in the laundry shop when Eric is getting his football because he asked Rachel but he thinks it is another boy who gets turned into a dog and it can happen to someone else.

but it did happen to someone else because it happen to poor Rex Thomas.

When enie end up going to the park.

And Rex look his Mirror because the magic flas really turned him into a white dog has a pink nose but it looks rather silmilar like a Jack Russell Terrier or a Golden Retriever because it is a Mongrel has no breed and it is really the opposite of a Pedigree.

when Norman the Janitor chase him in the school halls and his next door Neighbour named Carrie Howard hide him away from Norman because the magic fleas in his hair change him back into a Human by 60 minutes when he is all naked.

At 3o' clock When Rex Thomas way to his new school and he has talk to Jim because he bump into him in the Street when the magic fleas come out his hair and they landed in Jim's hair.

but Rex turn into a white dog has a pink nose the one who looks similar like a Jack Russell Terrier or a Golden Retriever because it is a Mongrel has no breed and it is really the opposite of a pedigree when he is only 10-years old.

and he is knows that happened him because he is been Bump into a 12-year-old Boy named Eric Banks in the Street.

Despite being a British programme, the programme has yet to be released on DVD in the UK. A dvd release entitled Woof, which consists the entire Series 1 cut into one programme is available as a Region 1 dvd. Two further DVDs called A Boy Called Woof and A Boy Called Woof 2 (which consists of Series 3 cut into 1 programme) are available as Region 1 releases. Several unofficial DVDs (which are VHS to DVD conversions) of Series 1-9 are available online through various sources.
